A light shell for the days when the forecast cannot decide

Too mild for a heavy coat, too wet and windy for just a jumper: that is where this lightweight outdoor jacket comes in. Its water-repellent surface treatment makes light rain and drizzle bead up on the fabric instead of soaking straight in, and the jacket keeps the wind out without feeling bulky. Because the fabric breathes, it stays comfortable when you pick up the pace on a hike or a run. Three zipped pockets hold your phone, wallet and keys.

The details

• Adjustable hood: drawcords with a cord lock at each side of the face opening, so you can close it in when gusts get stronger.
• Full-length front zip: it runs up to a high stand-up collar.
• Two chest pockets: long vertical zip pockets, big enough to take your phone or wallet.
• Sleeve pocket: a small zip pocket high on the left arm, handy for keys or a card, with a small print beside it.
• Adjustable cuffs: a hook-and-loop tab at each wrist.
• Drawcord hem: toggles at both sides let you close the hem to keep draughts out.
• Shaped sleeves: a seam across the forearm, just below the elbow.

Material and care

A smooth, matte polyester shell with a water-repellent treatment and a polyester lining; the inside of the hood is a darker shade. Care: wash it at 30 or 40 °C on the synthetics setting; it can go in the tumble dryer on a short synthetics setting. The T-shirt, the jeans and the boots the models wear are not included.

Size and fit

Available from M to 4XL. Regular fit, ending at the hip; it runs small, so we advise ordering one size up. Eight colours: Lilac, Navy, Light Blue, Grey, Black, Green, Blue-Grey and White. The Blue-Grey version combines slate blue shoulders, hood and sleeves with a light grey body.
